Author Cynthia Rylant presents a charming look back to the summer when far off relatives came to visit, leaving many wonderful memories behind. This is a wonderful book with beautiful illustrations. The setting is a time long gone before technology when people still sat around and spent time together and were just happy with what they had. Definitely one of my favorite author's & books!
